Do I need previous experience for horseback riding or canyoning?
No experience is required. Both activities are suitable for first-time adventurers, and professional guides provide clear instructions and safety briefings before each activity.
Is the waterfall rappelling in La Fortuna safe for kids?
Yes. The canyoning portion is suitable for children ages 6 and up. The waterfall rappelling La Fortuna route is progressively designed and supervised by certified guides.
What should I wear for the tour?
We recommend wearing comfortable outdoor clothing, closed-toe shoes, and clothes that can get wet. Bringing a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and an extra change of clothes is also recommended.
What is the Maleku Village visit?
During the horseback riding portion of the tour, guests may visit a small Maleku cultural representation, where guides share insights about the traditions and heritage of the Maleku Indigenous people of Costa Rica.
How long does the Canyoning & Horseback Riding tour last?
The full experience lasts approximately 6 to 7 hours, including transportation, the horseback riding tour, lunch at La Roca Bistro, and the La Roca canyoning adventure.
