Yes. La Roca Canyoning is designed for children from 6 years old, with certified guides, high-quality equipment, and optional activities.

No prior experience is needed.

It includes equipment, certified guides, and an amazing adventure.

A basic level of fitness is recommended, but our tours cater to all levels.

All jumps are optional and there are walk-arounds available.

Transportation is included from most hotels located in La Fortuna downtown and along the main road toward Arenal Volcano and Mistico Hanging Bridges Park (Zone 1).

 

Closed-toe shoes with good grip are required.

Hiking shoes, trail shoes, water shoes, or secure adventure sandals such as Tevas work well. Flip-flops or loose sandals are not recommended for safety reasons.

Please note that shoe rentals are not available.

That’s completely fine. Swimming is not required for this canyoning experience.

Our guides are always positioned to assist you, and the only water landing occurs in a shallow section of the canyon. If you prefer, you can skip optional jumps and still enjoy the full canyoning route.
